H-LLM Multi-Model Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hallucinations.Cloud ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our H-LLM Multi-Model iOS mobile application (the "App"). This policy applies exclusively to the iOS mobile application available through the Apple App Store.

Important: By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use our App, we collect the following information that you provide:

  • Phone Number: Your phone number is collected as the primary method of authentication. We use Twilio, Inc., a third-party SMS service provider, to send verification codes to your phone number during account creation and login.
  • Email Address (Optional): If you choose to provide an email address for account recovery or notifications.
  • Name (Optional): If you choose to add a display name to your profile.
  • AI Queries: The text of your queries submitted to the AI analysis system.
  • Follow-up Questions: Any follow-up questions you ask related to previous queries.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our App, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage:

  • Device Information:
    • Device model and manufacturer (e.g., "iPhone 15 Pro")
    • Operating system version (e.g., "iOS 18.6.2")
    • Unique device identifiers
    • Device language settings
    • Mobile network information
  • App Usage Data:
    • App version number
    • Features accessed
    • Time and date of access
    • Query history and timestamps
    • AI model response times
    • Subscription tier and status
  • Query Usage Metrics:
    • Daily query count
    • Subscription tier limits enforcement
    • Feature usage patterns
  • Purchase Information:
    • Apple In-App Purchase receipt data
    • Subscription tier ($9.99, $29.99, or $99.99 monthly)
    • Purchase and renewal timestamps
    • Subscription status (active, canceled, expired)

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:

  • ❌ Your precise geographic location
  • ❌ Access to your contacts or address book
  • ❌ Access to your photos, camera, or photo library
  • ❌ Your browsing history outside our App
  • ❌ Your payment card information (handled by Apple)
  • ❌ Biometric data (Face ID/Touch ID authentication is handled by iOS and never transmitted to us)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

2.1 Service Provision

  • Authentication: Verify your identity using SMS codes sent via Twilio.
  • AI Analysis: Process your queries through our multi-model AI analysis system.
  • Query History: Store and display your previous queries and results.
  • Subscription Management: Validate your subscription status and enforce tier limits.

2.2 Usage Limit Enforcement

We track your query usage to enforce subscription tier limitations:

Query counts are reset daily at 12:00 AM UTC and are used solely to enforce your subscription plan limitations.

2.3 Service Improvement

  • Performance Monitoring: Track response times and system performance.
  • Error Detection: Identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Feature Development: Understand which features are most valuable to users.

2.4 Communications

  • Send SMS verification codes (via Twilio)
  • Send service-related notifications (if you provide an email address)
  • Respond to your support requests

2.5 Legal Compliance

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Enforce our Terms of Use
  • Protect our rights and property

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

Critical Disclosure: When you submit a query through our App, your query text is transmitted to multiple third-party AI service providers for independent analysis. We do not control how these providers process or store your queries once transmitted.

3.1 Third-Party AI Model Providers

Each query you submit is sent to the following eight (8) AI service providers:

     OpenAI, L.L.C. - Processes queries using GPT-4o model

Important: We recommend reviewing each provider's privacy policy to understand how they handle your data. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party providers.

3.2 Other Third-Party Service Providers

    • Note: We do NOT receive your payment card information. Apple processes all payments.

3.3 Data We Do NOT Sell or Rent

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency), including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
  • Encryption at Rest: User data stored in our database is encrypted.
  • Access Controls: Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • Secure Authentication: Phone verification via SMS codes prevents unauthorized access.
  • Apple IAP Security: Purchase receipts are validated with Apple's servers to prevent fraud.

Important Disclaimer: While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for the following periods:

After the retention period expires, we securely delete or anonymize your data so that it can no longer be associated with you.

6. Your Privacy Rights

6.1 Access and Portability

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format

6.2 Correction

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

6.3 Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten")

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. To delete your account:

  1. Open the H-LLM app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Delete My Account"
  4. Confirm deletion

Upon deletion, we will remove your phone number, email, query history, and usage data within 30 days. Purchase receipts will be retained for legal compliance (7 years) but will be disassociated from your identity.

6.4 Objection and Restriction

You have the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing of your personal information.

6.5 Withdraw Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

6.6 Manage Subscription

To manage or cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the iOS Settings app on your device
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select "H-LLM Multi-Model"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription" if you wish to cancel

7. Regional Privacy Rights

7.1 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know: You can request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do NOT sell your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

Categories of Personal Information Collected (CCPA):

  • Identifiers (phone number, email, device ID)
  • Commercial Information (purchase history, subscription tier)
  • Internet or Network Activity (query history, app usage)
  • Geolocation Data (NOT COLLECTED)
  • Biometric Information (NOT COLLECTED)

7.2 European Union Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to Access: Request access to your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Request limitation of how we use your data.
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Right to Object: Object to our processing of your data.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR):

  • Contract: Processing necessary to provide the service you requested (authentication, AI analysis).
  • Legitimate Interest: Fraud prevention, security, service improvement.
  • Consent: Where you have given explicit consent (e.g., optional email collection).

7.3 International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your country.

When we transfer personal data from the EEA to other countries, we use approved safeguards such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Service providers certified under applicable data transfer frameworks

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is NOT intended for users under the age of 17.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17 years of age. The App is rated 17+ in the Apple App Store due to:

  • Unrestricted access to AI-generated content
  • Potential for mature themes in AI responses
  • Financial transactions (in-app purchases)

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 17 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at brian@hallucinations.cloud. We will take steps to delete such information from our systems.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important Notice About AI Responses: The responses generated by the AI models integrated into our App may contain errors, inaccuracies, or "hallucinations" (false or misleading information presented as fact).

We provide the following safeguards:

  • Multi-Model Comparison: Responses from 8 different AI models to identify inconsistencies.
  • Truth Verification Engine: Cross-checks claims against reliable sources.
  • Red/Blue/Purple Team Analysis: Security analysis frameworks to identify potential issues.
  • H-Score™ Algorithm: Reliability metric (0-100) to indicate confidence level.
  • Content Moderation: Filters inappropriate or harmful content.

You should independently verify any important information received from the App before relying on it for critical decisions.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our iOS App does NOT use cookies or web-based tracking technologies.

We do collect device and usage information as described in Section 1.2, but this is done through native iOS app functionality, not cookies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons.

When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email (if provided)
  • Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

13. App Store Privacy Label Information

The following information is disclosed in our Apple App Store Privacy Label:

Data Linked to You

  • Contact Info: Phone number
  • User Content: AI queries and follow-up questions
  • Identifiers: Device ID
  • Usage Data: Query history, feature usage
  • Purchases: Purchase history, subscription status

Data Not Linked to You

  • Diagnostics: Crash data, performance data (anonymized)

Data Used for Tracking

  • None: We do NOT use your data for cross-app or cross-site tracking for advertising purposes.

14. Third-Party Links

Our App may contain links to third-party websites, including the privacy policies of the AI providers listed in Section 3.1. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

15. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will:

  • Notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach (as required by GDPR)
  • Describe the nature of the breach and the data affected
  • Explain the measures we are taking to address the breach
  • Provide recommendations for steps you can take to protect yourself
  • Notify relevant regulatory authorities as required by law

16. Automated Decision-Making

We do NOT use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on you.

The AI analysis performed by our App is at your direction and for your information only. We do not use AI to make automated decisions about you (e.g., creditworthiness, eligibility for services, etc.).

17. Your Consent

By using our App, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
